We had about 20" of snow and -20 degrees windchill last week and then low 70's this week! Got to love Arkansas' bipolar weather! Of course the kids got out for 4 snow days from school. What did we do for 4 days surrounded by snow? The boys played in their indoor tent, the girls built tunnels in the snow, and Snickers loved jumping into the deep powder! We all had a lot of fun.
We currently live in East Texas surrounded by family and friends. But we miss our family in other states and friends that we have met on our journey. Thankfully through our Savior we have learned to enjoy our journey and wish to share it with you.

Snow Week!
This week we had one day of school! Why? Ice and snow and no snow plows.
Here are a few pictures of our winter fun this week. There is more snow on the way!
Brittany in deep snow by the local pond.
Grant all bundled up to play in the cold.
Enoch in a snow tunnel.
Emily, Meagan, Snickers, and Sarah after church. They got to walk in the snow to church today.
Nathanael learned to crawl!! But only backwards :)

Winter Concerts
We have had so much fun this year with all of the winter concerts! Our family really enjoyed being involved in different musical performances. Here is a list of what the kids have been involved with this winter. Brittany played French Horn in the High School Symphonic Band and sang in the Ozark Mormon Chorale. Sarah played clarinet in the High School Wind Ensemble Band and in the All Region Orchestra and Band. Meagan started playing Cello in the Middle School Orchestra. Emily sang in the Middle School Choir. And Enoch sang with his Kindergarten class. We attempted to sing in our church talent show a medley from Sound of Music, but we ended up staying home with sick kids.
